Talk to us before you choose a UK course
Tell us your level, the city you have in mind, and roughly when you want to study. We read every message, point you to the school profiles that fit, and answer the practical questions about course types and study formats along the way.

What to include in your message
Specific questions get specific answers. The details below are the ones that usually let us narrow a list of schools down to two or three worth your time. You do not need all of them to write to us.
01
Current English level
A rough band is fine if you are unsure: beginner, intermediate, or advanced, plus whether you have sat a test before.
02
City or cities
If you are willing to move, say so. A course that fits your level may sit a short train ride from the city you first had in mind.
03
When and how long
Two weeks, a full term, or six months to work on exam prep. The length you can commit to shapes which formats make sense.
04
A target, if you have one
An IELTS score you need, a university start date, or a move for work. Tell us the deadline and we will plan backwards from it.
If you would rather ask something quick first, a one-line email works. We can send you school links before you decide whether to look further.
How to reach the office
We monitor both email and phone during UK office hours. Anything that needs a document attached, or a set of school links, is usually faster by email. The phone is better if you want to talk through two options side by side.

Our UK office
Our correspondence address is in Fitzrovia, a short walk from Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street stations. It is an editorial office, not a teaching centre, so please do not turn up expecting classes.

Letters and documents only. Visitor arrangements sit with each school, not with us.
If you want to visit a school before you commit, ask the school directly about their open days and visitor policy. We can put you in touch and tell you which schools typically welcome a look around.
Where the office sits
Nearest stations: Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road, both under ten minutes on foot. Buses along Euston Road and Oxford Street stop nearby.
Registration and enquiries
This form collects your first name, surname, email, and phone number so we can reply to your enquiry. It is a general enquiry form, not a course booking. Submitting it does not enrol you anywhere and does not commit you to anything.
We will use your details only to answer your question, as set out in our privacy policy. You can read it, along with our site terms, before you send anything.
Response times and what happens next
We aim to reply within two working days. If your question needs input from a school, it may take slightly longer, and we will tell you if that is the case.
-
Day one · message read
We read your enquiry and note the level, city, and dates you gave. If anything is missing and we need it to answer, the reply will ask for that one detail rather than a whole form again.
-
Within two days · reply sent
You get a reply by email, or by phone if you asked us to call. It will name the schools and course formats worth a closer look, with links to their profiles on this site.
-
School details · confirmed by them
If your question is about a specific school's availability or fees, we will point you to the school, because only they can confirm current details. Availability, final prices, and enrolment terms change term by term.
-
Next step · your choice
Nothing is booked on your behalf. You decide which school to contact, and when. If you want a second opinion after you compare two options, write back and we will look at both with you.
If you have not heard from us within a week, check your spam folder and then email again. Occasionally messages are filtered, and a second attempt usually gets through.
Questions we can answer for you
We are an editorial office that reviews and compares UK English language schools. That gives us a useful job: we can explain how the schools differ and what a course format actually involves, without selling you a place.
Some things we cannot settle for you. Anything that depends on a school's live timetable, current fee list, or a specific class place has to come from the school itself. We will always say which side of that line your question sits on.

Can you tell me whether a specific course still has places?
No. Class places move quickly and only the school holds the current list. What we can do is tell you which schools run the format you want in the city you are considering, then hand you their contact details so you can ask directly.
What does it cost to contact you?
Nothing. Writing to us, phoning us, and asking us to compare two schools costs you nothing and does not commit you to anything. If you go on to book a course, your contract and payment sit with the school, not with us.
Can I visit your office before I decide?
Our Charlotte Street address is an editorial office, not a teaching centre, and we do not run scheduled visits there. If you want to see a school in person, contact the school and ask about their open days and visitor arrangements.
I am outside the UK — can I still get in touch?
Yes. Email is the easiest route if you are in another time zone, and we answer in UK office hours. Tell us your time zone and we will suggest a realistic window for a call if that suits you better than writing back and forth.
Do you help with visas or accommodation?
We do not process visas or book housing. Schools handle their own accommodation options and can tell you whether a course meets a particular visa route's attendance rules. We can explain which questions to ask them first.
Keep looking while you wait for our reply
You do not have to sit still until we write back. The pages below cover course types, the schools we review, and how we put a comparison together.
